Kalanchoe blossfeldiana Poelln. is one of the ornamental pot plants known around the world and the highest selling rate in Dutch auctions. In this compilation, studies on micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis, in vitro flowering and in vitro breeding of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana is edited. In the micropropagation studies, stem (shoot-tip, node and internode), leaves (leaf blade and leaf stalk) and flower parts (inflorescence) as explant source; NaOCl and HgCl2as disinfectants; different doses of BA, NAA, GA3 and TDZ as growth regulators and different concentrations of MS as nutrient medium were used. It has been reported in the examined studies that the plant regeneration and plantlets arisen from explants, and the plantlets were successfully transferred to external conditions. It has been understood that studies on somatic embryogenesis studies have been carried out on clonal propagation and artificial seed production. Investigations on in vitro flowering studies have examined the effects of culture conditions, nutrients, growth regulators and gallic acid. In breeding studies, hybrid embryos obtained by interspecies hybridization were rescued and polyploid plants were obtained.
