Türkiye Afi t Faunasının Son Durumu ve Afi tlerin Ekonomik Önemi

Abstract

Studies conducted on aphid species in Turkey that are an important pests can be thought insuffi cient when
considered geographical, climatic, fl oristic-faunistic and agricultural features of the country. It has been reliazed
that the number of species listed for Turkey aphid fauna does not show exact number and also there is no statistical
data show how much damage aphid caused. Even we do not have these basic knowledges, aphids invade new
areas and their damages to crop are getting higher due to ecological interactions. Therefore this review aimed to
have an attention to this important subject.
