DNA Barkodlama: Mitokondriyal COI Geni Kullanılarak Moleküler Tanımlama

Abstract

In this review, DNA barcoding, which is the most commonly used molecular tool in biological identifications, was discussed in every
respect. Difference of DNA barcoding from other molecular tools, the main reasons of using cytochrome oxidase c subunit I was given
together with application and work flow of this approach. While explaining DNA barcoding, the difficulties encountered during application
was also discussed under several subtitles within the scope of this review. Finally, the most contentious issue of relationship between DNA
barcoding, phylogeny and population genetics was tried to be clarified along with suggestions related to subject.
