Karanfil (Dianthus Caryophyllus L.)’ De Görülen Bitki Koruma Problemleri

Abstract

Turkey has important potential with its climate conditions for ornamental plants and especially cut flower production. Carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus L.) has an important position in cut flower industry. Carnation is susceptible to infection by many diseases (fungi, bacteria, viruses) and to damage by pests (insects, acari, nematoda), which in some cases may result in serious losses. In this review, problems caused by plant diseases and pests in carnation plants are summarized briefly
