Abstract

Çanakkale Strait (Dardanelles) has been one of the world’s most important waterways not only today but also from the past. The richness of the
ancient Troy owed to the wind because ships refuge coast. Çanakkale Strait that take progress and alter as a continuous from past (BC, Anatolian
Principalities and Ottoman period) to today had came important and increase from every time because of struggle for dominance on sea. There for
Dardanelle’s seabed is home to so many sunken ancient times to today.Çanakkale Strait (Dardanelles) in the 1910s to mostly the present address is sunken. Supported by statistical data can be subject to water main deep throat (Turkish, British, French, German ships and submarines) by providing location and date have been analyzed. Working in 1915 - 1925 in which more weight is given to the wreck. Seen that, 1925 - 2009 years between the records were examined the factors affecting the exchange of sunkens. Dardanelles has the optimum oceanographic conditions that formation and to maintain the existence of sunkens (discharge rate, the accumulation of shell, temperature, pH, etc.)
