Büyük Menderes Nehir Havzası’ndaki Egzotik Balık Türleri ve Etkileri

Özet

In this study, 8 non-native fi sh species have been introduced into the Büyük Menderes River Basin:
Carassius gibelio, Ctenopharyngodon idella, Gambusia affi nis, Lepomis gibbosus, Morone chrysops & Morone
saxatilis, Oncorhynchus mykiss, Pseudorasbora parva. Among these species, 2 are for the biological control,
3 are for the aquaculture, and 3 are accidental introduction into the basin. The basin has richness number of
native and endemic fi sh species in the Turkey. In recent years, 3 non-native fi sh species established in the basin,
Lepomis gibbosus, Carassius gibelio and Pseudorasbora parva appear to have a negative impact on native and
endemic fi sh fauna.
