Antibiotics have important role in animal production as a growth and health promoter. Due to the negative effect of these antibiotics to the
human immune system, the use of antibiotic growth promoters has been banned by the European Union. Therefore, the researchers natural and safe
ingredients that may be an alternative to antibiotics in recent years to a quest. Nowadays, aquaculture the utilization of essential oils derived from
by the profitable alternative forage additives which are also harmless to humanity and better in, has started.In this review, essential oil derived from plants
and oils and their properties were evaluated on the use of aquaculture.
