Misshapen Fruit, quality, yieldAbstract
The strawberry production is increased in the World and our Country last years. The reasons are this increase of strawberry
fruit which has being important antioxidant source, aroma, good appearance and cultivation is been important trade area. Many
studies have been conducted to increasing of yield and quality until now. Also, yield and quality are consisted of interaction
of many factors. In this review is comprised of studies about pollinator insect effects on the yield and quality in strawberry
cultivation. Especially, effectiveness of honey and bombus bees is discussed. Fruit size is affected by bees with increasing of
pollination and fertilization level in strawberry flower and of this is summarized positively influenced on total yield. It is reported
that significant decreasing of misshapen fruit formation by bee usage in early production that has important commercial value.
Another important finding by studies is odor compound which producing by plant is more efficient than flower structure. This
could be very important strategy by breeders who aimed decreasing of misshapen fruit formation. In this way, breeders could
have been increased yield and normal formed fruit by obtained cultivar which has attractive odor flowers. Also T. harzianum
1295-22 race (being an entomopathogenic) is emphasized to active the controlling of Botrytis which been important problem
for strawberry.
