Turkey embodies a great potential for nature tourism with a lot of natural values. Kastamonu, one of the corners of paradise in Turkey has
important nature tourism potential. Kastamonu has the longest coastline on the Black Sea in the Western Black Sea Region. Kastamonu hosts
Ilgaz Mountain National Park in the south, Kure Mountains National Park on North West, canyons, plateaus, waterfalls and many natural and
historical beauties. There is a large number of flora and fauna species and local products are produced. Determining Kastamonu province’s the
nature tourism potential and develop various proposals and methods for evaluation of this potential is the aim of this study. Towards this aim,
in the study interview techniques have been applied to tourism stakeholders of Kastamonu and research findings have been reviewed.
