The main difficulty with the use of hostile resistance is that it is the single resistance gene in particular and nematodes break through the effects
of these genes. Virulent nematode populations have been reported, particularly at sites where monoculture farming has been continuously
carried out. Preservation of long-term durability also depends on cultivation, environmental conditions and the formation of new mutations
and recombinant generations of the pathogen. Recent research shows that the strategies in product management affect durability in sources of
resistance. Strategies against virulent populations can be prevented, and nematode damage can be reduced in areas where such populations are
present. The continuity of durability is achieved by using additional genes that are alternative to single gene resistance, or by using additional
genes that provide cross-resistance. This study will focus on nematode resistance, durability improvement, virulence in nematodes, product
management and virulence in the use of resistant varieties.
