Antimikrobiyal Ajan Olarak Bitki Bileşenleri

Abstract

In the world, numerous plants and their extracts have used for thousands of years to treat health disorders. Especially, the knowledge of their
healing properties has been transmitted throughout history among cultures. Depending on type, concentration and components, they exhibit
antimicrobial effects on living cells. Medicines derived from plants have shown great promise in the treatment of healthies originating from
microorganism. Researchers have aimed to describe the chemical composition of these plants antimicrobials and the mechanisms involved in
microbial growth inhibition. Thus, in the present work, antimicrobial properties of some compounds of medicinal plants and their mechanisms
on living cells was discussed.
