Abstract

Mediterranean region extends towards west from east as a zone in the middle latitudes and covers similar areas
surrounded by a sea, Mediterranean. This region the driest season of which is summer and having a physiological
drought period exhibites very large ecological variations today as in the past due to the anthropogenic impacts
dated back to ancient eras. The fl ora of Mediterranean area have been originated from Tersier era, as well as along
with the igration of the species of tropical and extratropical areas.
