Olive, climate change, global warmingAbstract
Global climate change is an indisputable reality in the world. Nowadays this change is increasing more and more. As a result of global warming
the glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, sources of fresh water are drying and species are disappearing. Turkey is one of the countries that
would be affected more by the conclusions of global warming. In our country there are some serious concerns about increasing summer and winter
temperatures, decreasing in the amount of rainfall, increasing levels in the sea water and reduction in agricultural production. Although olive is
a resistant species to the dry conditions, it is one of the most affected agricultural products by the results of global warming. Because of this, the
urgent measures should be taken in the olive growing. In the fallowing article, the measures are mentioned.
