İnşaat Sektöründe Su Kaynaklarının Verimli Kullanılmasına Yönelik Strateji Önerileri

Abstract

Since the amount of fresh water in the world is limited, the amount of water that people can use is being reduced. While
important share of the world’s population does not have drinking water, a larger part can not access healthy water. The
increase in population and average water consumption per capita put pressure on water resources. This emphasizes the
importance of developing inter-sectoral business cooperation and strategy for efficient use of water resources around the
world. In Turkey, it is also important to develop proposals for strategies that include sectors (mainly construction, agriculture,
manufacturing) and interdisciplinary, political and commercial dimensions, so as to increase the efficiency of use of water
resources. In this study, based on the literature review, the strategy recommendations for enhancing efficient use of water
resources in construction industry will be developed.
