Abstract

The protection and sustainability of rural heritage is an important field of activity in socio-cultural, environmental and economic terms. The subject is an area that is constantly taken into consideration in terms of environmental and economic development as well as expressing an important socio-cultural dimension of transferring its values to future generations. Managing and preserving the values and transferring them to future generations is the most important issue of the future as well as today. In this process, the rural area is important because it is an important resource in transferring traditional values to future generations. Therefore, rural areas need to be protected because of their important function in maintaining the authenticity of traditional values. In particular, the impact on production, economy, environmental protection, biodiversity and the preservation of original culture should be considered, and appropriate sustainable policies should be developed and supported with a holistic approach
